New Years Eve Candy Crackers by Pam Bray

Welcome 2014...it is Pam today on the Couture Creations Blog sharing with you how to make a Cracker Candy Container....I know I will be making these for my New Years Eve party because they are fun and easy to make....and who doesn't like easy...

I started by cutting two different pieces using my cutting machine...one in a pretty pattern paper the other with brown distress card stock....

I took the brown distress paper and trimmed the edge off using my Couture Creations Precision Trimmer....

so that I have two pieces.....

I took the straight pieces and the "A Songbirds Poinsettia" Embossing folder...

once I had the pieces embossed I sanded them using my Couture Creations Sanding Block....

Take Double Sided Tape...tape the brown embossed distress card stock on three sides and the pretty pattern paper on the outside edge....layer the brown embossed distress card stock on top of the pattern paper.

Tie together with pretty ribbon, add some of Couture Creations Gemstones, filled with candy or other items and add a few decorations to make a pretty Cracker Candy Container....

I hope you have a blessed 2014 and make a few of the Cracker Candy Containers sometime through the year.
Hugs Pammejo

December Daily an Inside Look by Cathi O'Neill

Here are the pages of my Christmas mini album made to sit inside the fun box that I decorated last week.
I have taken several photos of the pages before I added photos here
so you can see the embossing before I cover a lot of it with photos!!

I used several nesting die sets for the photo mats: Fleur-de-FrameSquare Nesting DiesScallop Square Nesting DiesVictorian Squares Nesting DieOval Nesting Dies and Scallop Oval Nesting DiesI also chose several decorative die cuts to enhance the album: the Fantasia Doily Die: Ivy Set, the Endless Dreams: Aladdin's Key DieSophia: Dolce and Sophia: Oscar dies.

Here are some more photos of the mini album, showing some images from the tree trimming, cookie baking, projects I made and present opening!! Thanks so much for taking a look!!

For the embossing, I used the Wrapped in Joy: Champagne and Holly embossing folder and Wrapped in Joy: Poinsettia Lullaby embossing folder for almost all of my photo mats!

The Greatest Love by Dana Tatar

Hi! Dana here today I am sharing a card that I created with the gorgeous Berardi Die from the Couture Creations Sophia Collection.

I started by creating my own patterned paper with a heart mast and mist. I layered two pieces of that patterned paper for my card base. I cut the heart from pink cardstock using the Berardi Die. I backed the die-cut heart with white cardstock and secured it to the card base with Foam Mounting Tape.

I then created a small embellishment cluster to hold my sentiment, which was created with cardstock, the second heart die-cut from the Berardi Die and a rub-on. I finished the card with some Moonlight Self-Adhesive Pearls.

Thanks for stopping by today!

December Daily by Dana Tatar

Hi Couture Creations fans! Dana here today sharing my December Daily Carousel. December is always a whirlwind month for me, so I thought a spinning album would be a fun way to document my days. I started with some notecards and photo sleeves and added texture and color with my favorite Couture Creations Wrapped in Joy Embossing Folders and some Premium Nesting Dies.

Follow these steps to create "chalkboard" finish embossed cardstock:

1. Emboss white cardstock with your favorite Wrapped in Joy Embossing Folders.
2. Paint each piece of cardstock with gesso. Let dry.
3. Paint each piece of cardstock with festive colors of watered-down acrylic paint. Let Dry.
4. Sand each piece of cardstock with a Sanding Block to reveal the white core.

Continuing with the chalkboard theme, I die-cut black cardstock with a Victorian Square Nesting Die to create date placecards to number my notecards. I stamped the numbers onto each square white ink.

Here's my notecards for the first half of the month. I tucked painted cardstock pieces behind the large photos and into photo sleeves for a pop of color. I attached the date cards to the back of each notecard.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Cherish the Moment by Lesa Bird

Hi Ladies, today I've haa little play with the Couture Creations
All Occasions 5x7 Thinking of You embossing folder,
hope you like it

I've used a heart scalloped edge cardstock, Spritz it to add colour, let dry, then given it a spritz of water, placed it in my CC Thinking Of You embossing folder, and roll it heavierly with a rolling pin.

Take the large stamp from CC Three In One; Butterfly Notes, now stamp over the rest of the heart

Using the CC Heart nesting Dies cut one each of the 3 snallest dies

Take the largest and smallest and of your hearts, emboss them using the CC Thinking of You folder, and roughly sand them with CC Sanding Block

In one of the corners on your large photo mate, emboss it using CC All Occasions Jazmyne, I've used the CC Stylist to do this, and hit with your CC Sanding Block

Cut 2 of the 2nd small and 8 of the smallest, CC Scallop Circle nesting dies, layer then and, attach in the centre with small brad, spritz layers with water,s scrunch each layer to the centre, then carefully
reopen your flower

There are many Decorative Dies in the Couture Creations range, I've used CC Intricutz Sophia Collections; Bossa, cut it out a couple of time, and you could add that little something to these flourishes, cover them with Glitz'n Glamour, glitter, Gem Stones, or even stamp over them, have fun with it and see how it comes out

Add a little bling, a title and arrange you elements to suit your style

Have fun

Stay Safe and Enjoy Your Day
