Hearts Ease Card by Kerrie Gurney

#couturecreationsaus

Hi Everyone Kerrie here
I am back with another quick card created  using the gorgeous
Couture Creations Hearts Ease Collection

I have added some texture using Heart Ease Embossing Folder on patterned paper, embossing your patterned paper gives your paper a whole new look to your paper

I then added some shimmer to the base patterned paper by flicking on some purple spray and then once dry misting the whole piece with gold spray

I then die cut 1 x Rowena Ornamental Lace Die from the Amaryllis collection in patterned paper.
I inked the edges of all papers and die cuts using a sponge dauber to give a subtle shading

I also die cut 1 x Lilliputana die from the Hearts Ease collection from mauve cardstock,
I then cut it in half
and adhered both pieces and the Rowena doily to my card base using the Turbo Glue Pen which is perfect for adhering die cuts and intricate pieces

I sprayed a 6cm Camden Cottage Rose with gold spray and while wet scrunched to give the flower more life and more shabby look

To adhere the muslin to the flower I used 6mm Double Sided Tape

To finish off I die cut 1 x Cycad Leaves from the Everyday Essentials collection

I cut the leaves in half, inked and pinched the leaves to give some texture and definition
I rearrange the bottom half of the leaf spray making them more natural

here is a closer look at the detail
Once I layered the flower, muslin and doily die cut together I gave them a quick spritz of gold spray to add a bit more shimmer

Tip : when spraying your flowers if you are short on time you can dry them off quickly with a Couture Creations Heat Tool

 Happy Creating

Hi Everyone
Another card from me today one that was made for a wedding.

To recreate this card cut a 5x7 inch card base and mat with Couture Creations Vintage Rose Garden Rouge Damask.

then cut some small one inch strips from one of the pattern papers from the Couture Creations Vintage Rose Garden 6" paper pad . Distress the edges with your Couture Creations Non Stick Precision Scissors. Adhere to your card front with Couture Creations 2 Way Glue Pen

cut a Couture Creations Amaryllis Simone's Style Border and attach two pieces of it across your card
or

you can fold it over like I have done. It is the perfect measurement.

Add flower to the side of your card along with some Vintage Roses cut from the pattern paper then
Cut a few die cuts from the Couture Creations Kalini Tall basket Flowers to add as foliage, Don't forget to use your Couture Creations Die Release Paper in this one (makes it sooooo easy to get out!)

Then Cut a Couture Creations Everyday Essentials Love title in a matching colour to add to your card front along with a metal embellishment and a ribbon bow.

Pram Baby Party Favour by Sue Smyth

#couturecreationsaus

This year we added to our extended family as my Nephew's wife
had a little girl just a few days ago.

So we have been in Baby shower mode for sometime now.
This is the little party favour I came up with
to decorate the table and give to
guests to take home.

I have used some simple supplies like bamboo
skewers painted white with gesso and
covered with white glitter. This forms the
perfect handle and axle for the pram.

Use a hot glue gun to adhere the bamboo
skewers.

Create a small scroll from a 1 cm strip of white cardstock
and ordinary alpha stamps or handwriting.

Add some glittered paper flowers and a tiny satin bow.

I have trimmed the edge off the Amaryllis Laced Frame die
and attached to the hood, along with lots of the tiny pearls.

Add larger pearls to the edges of the hood to
hide the edges of the base.

To start with die cut 4 prams, two in pink and
two in white, adhere the white prams to
the pink ones, and ink pink side edges.

Cut a strip of pink cardstock, approx 12 cm x 6 cms, score
the sides at 1 cm and snip small tabs all along.
Roll one end over a toothpick and adhere. Trim off excess
toothpick

Add a second toothpick to the end and roll up so that the
strip is the correct size(snip off excess)
adhere the pram sides to the tabbed edge,
carefully, curling the base as you go.

Cover bamboo skewers with white gesso and
smear over dimensional magic, sprinkle with white
glitter, trim and adhere as a handle and
axles.

Add a small piece of chipboard to the base to
rest the flowers and teased muslin on.

You could fill this pram with sweets, tickets or
typed out greetings. Or little plastic babies you
can find in the party aisle.
Or ask the guests to bring a copy of a
baby photo of themselves, trim out the head
and tuck into the pram with a little paper quilt!

What a cute way to decorate the table,so quick and easy.

Life is Beautiful by Tina Connolly

#couturecreationsaus

Hi there!
It's Tina, and I'm back with another creation using the gorgeous Couture Creation dies.
Tutorial
1. Cut one of the Elegant Card Cuts - Vierge Square from white cardstock, trim the outer edge, leaving 2-3mm as shown in the second photograph. (This die is great because it doesn't cut the outer edge, allowing you to change the size of the frame to suit your requirements)

2. Cut a mat using the 9.5cm Square Nesting die from one of the 6x6 Vintage Rose papers.  I cut my card base from a 12x12 sheet in the same pattern.

3. Ink edges of mat and card base using a Sponge Dauber.  Attach Vierge Square diecut to card base using the Two Way Glue Pen. (These are fantastic for those delicate pieces)
4. Cut a Touch Of Love heart from white, and 'Life Is Beautiful' from Core'dinations Black Magic.

5. Layer as shown, using 3D Foam Strips under the square paper mat to add depth

(Don't you just love the new Couture flowers?  I had to scatter a few around my card, because they are just so pretty!)

Smile by Bernii Miller

#couturecreationsaus

Hello there Bernii Miller here again with you today to share with you another layout that I have created with the gorgeous new Kalini collection teamed with the Vintage Rose papers.

This was another layout that was created to head over to CHA at the start of the year and I dived in again and could not wait to create more flowers to sprinkle around page. I also played around with the

I based and built the layout around the Rose Header paper and actually flipped it up side down to create the pretty flower boarder at the bottom of the page.

I used the Falling Blossoms die to create the flowers and made sure that I pinched each petal to give it a little more dimension. I then used my beloved ( and super handy for the tight areas) Sponge Dauber to ink the edges of each of the petal.
