Post It Note Holder by Kerrie Gurney

#couturecreationsaus

Hi everyone it is me Kerrie back again for Couture Creations
Can you believe February is all but over, my how the year flies these days.

Anyway onto my post.
Today I am sharing with you this super quick gift idea.
A Post It Note Holder created using an acrylic photo frame and a post it note pad and of course
Couture Creations dies and papers

This is a great gift for a school teacher, a colleague or a student for on their desk.

To start off I cut a piece of Vintage Rose Garden Time patterned paper to 4.5" x 6.5"
and then a piece of green cardstock to 5" x 7"
Distress the edges of both pieces adhere patterned paper to cardstock and place inside photo frame.

Next die cut 1 x Anastasia Ornamental Lace Die using Quick Release Die paper so the die cut pops straight out of the die and adhere die cut to the outside of photo frame

Die Cut 3 x Cycad Leaves in black cardstock

To create gorgeous foiled leaves, lay a strip of foil ontop of die cut leaves

next place inbetween a piece of photocopy paper and run through a laminating machine

and then remove the foil, to revel gorgeous foiled leaves ..sorry this is not the best photo, but you get the idea

Layer the leaves onto the frame and finish off with a fabulous fabric flower which you can create using the Rose Nesting Dies (visit here for flower tutorial)

Love by Tracey Cooley

#couturecreationsaus

Hi Everyone

Tis my delight to be on the blog again today with a very quick card, that I made for one of our very special teachers at school!

To make this card simply cut a 6.5"x 4.5" mat from Core Dinations Bight White Foundations Cardstock and using the Couture Creations Non Stick mat. Spray and dip your mat into various coloured ink.
Then simply add some chipboard corners, Muslin and flowers.

Then cut 3 - 4 Couture Creations Everyday Essentials Floating Leaves and cut them into single leaves placing them under your flowers on the front of your card.

1 Edith and 2 of her babies! (love love love this die set, fast becoming my go to dies)
I have embellished Edith and her littlies with some Leafing. One gold, one copper and one silver.

Stamp your card with a sentiment and your done!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!!!

Hello Vintage Rose Card by Jowilna Nolte

#couturecreationsaus

Hello everyone - I am still on a winning streak being creative with the awesome Vintage Rose Garden collection of papers and dies. Today I created a beautiful card for someone special.
The base of my card was cut from one of the patterned papers from the 12x12" paper pad CO723971. I then added a die-cut element using the gorgeous green checkered paper and the CO724050
Couture Creations Vintage Rose Collection - Cuckoo Clock (73 x 100mm) die.

I turned the Cuckoo Clock upside down and left out the clock part...which really left me with Cuckoo part didn't it? On top of that I added some cut out flowers and the Vintage Rose
CO724042 Vintage Rose Collection - Vintage Rose
die. The beautiful butterfly was also cut from one of the patterned papers, just adding a nice pop of red accent colour.

To colour my Rose die cut, I cut the rose from white smooth cardtock.

On my craft sheet I added 2 colours of ink markers in green and misted it with water.

Then I dipped the die cut rose into the ink to add colour.

I used a third green ink and misted only the right hand side of the die cut and left it to dry naturally - the different greens mixed together to form a beautiful coloured rose in different shades.

To finish off my card, I assembled all the die cut elements, cut out roses, and die-cut sentiment to the front of the card. Then to add some sparkle I rubbed Glitzin' Glamour glitter glue over the die cut rose and cut out flowers - the sparkle and shine is amazing and just adds a nice finishing touch.

A quick and easy card made with this gorgeous range of products. And once again, I love how versatile the die cuts are, even turned up side down or sideways they can create different looks and effects to any crafting project! What have you done with your Vintage Rose collection today?

Frills of Love by Mel Connell

#couturecreationsaus

Hello once again.

Thank you for dropping in to check out my latest creation using the fabulous Couture Creations products.

This time around I have used the Vintage Rose Garden paper collection (still crushing on this, it's just stunning!), One of the sets from the newly released Frames and Frill collections and a few dies form the Everyday Essentials Collection.

All three of these create a gorgeous soft frilly romantic feel.

I have used several sheets of the Vintage Rose Garden 12 x 12 sheets of paper. Cutting some of the floral elements out to use as embellishment, and cutting from other sheets some of the elements using the dies from both collections.

I have cut around 7 of the Script love word from the Everyday Essentials collections and glued them all on top of each other to create a thicker 3D effect with the word.
I have cut apart the Edith Border to use the small Butterflies individually around my layout.

Sprinkle around a bunch of Gems, I have used the Vintage Gold colour, adding them to the centers of the printed flowers on the Vintage Rose Garden paper and also to the center of the small dies cut flower from the Anastasia set of dies.

Precious Moments by Jo Piccirilli

#couturecreationsaus

Good morning paper crafters!
Jo here to share with you a layout I have been working on.

I really like the new Vintage Border die and wanted to create like a lace effect around my page so I cut out a whole bunch of them.

I then laid them side by side to create a frame effect around my page.

The bottom of my page I embellished using the Vintage Roses die.  I cut several of these with pink and green papers from the 12 x 12 paper pad but just cut the top of the pink roses off and layered them over the green bottoms.  I then bent them a little so that they didn't all look too uniformed.

Here is a close up of the other details in my page.  Under the photo you can see is the gorgeous Love Abounds die (just like a doily :)).  I have created a frame using my Vintage Signs nesting dies.  This was a large photo with a lot on it so by using a frame it breaks the photo up a bit and also draws in the eye in.  The chipboard title and the little balloons are from our good friends at Imaginarium Designs.

Thanks for looking.  Until next time
