Christmas Wreaths by Kerrie Gurney

#couturecreationsaus #christmasinjuly #giveaway

Hi Kerrie here
I am super excited to share with you the wreaths I have created for the
Couture Creations Christmas in July Celebration

I just love Christmas decorating and love to have a different them each year.
While I haven't decided what colour theme I will go with this year I thought I would get a start on my Christmas gifts as I love to give a wreath as a gift to special friends.
I have used the Couture Creations Christmas Eve Decorative Dies to embellish some cheap wreaths I purchased.

One can never have too much glitter at Christmastime ...I created my own glitter paper using Couture Creations Double Sided Adhesive

Start off laying down strips of  the 18mm tape onto thin white cardstock, making sure you butt the strips up against each other

nest trim off the excess tape

run the card through making sure you use Quick Release Die Paper otherwise the sticker paper will stick into the die and also use the Metal Adapter Plate so that you get a nice clean cut

release diecut from cardstock, peel off the backing paper and sprinkle of superfine gold glitter

I did the same with the Joy ...adhere diecuts using Turbo Glue Pen it is perfect for adhering diecuts

add diecuts to pinecone wreath, I also added the bird and other folage

for this wreath I tied the bauble to the top of the wreath so that it swings

 Happy Creating

#couturecreationsaus

Hi
Anita Here sharing a card for Christmas in July
Wow really when you think about it ...it's really not that long away from Christmas lol
Here is my card ..

I used some of the emporium paper in the middle of my card
Using the Anastasia die set I die cut 2 of the little borders and and tucking them under the top and bottom of my card

I added a bit of lace behind the border and some silver glitter glue along the edge of the pattern paper I die cut the the circle doily in red and just the circle in white cardstock and layered them with a bit of foam tape giving it dimension added a bit more silver glitter glue around my white circle

Then I die cut the ice crystal using the Christmas emporium paper and cut out the be merry for my sentiment and added on top

And the holy leaves from the Christmas label set green cardstock I popped under the flowers at the top and bottom of my of my doily circle

Christmas Tri Fold Card by Tina Connolly

#couturecreationsaus

 Hi everybody Tina again
I'd like to share with you today how I made this card.
Take a sheet of Core'dinations cardstock and trim to 12 inches X 9 inches.  Cut a 3 inch square from the two lower corners using a precision trimmer.  Score fold-lines, your finished card will be 6x6 inches, with the three flaps folded in.

Die-cut two 'Mistletoe' from green card-stock.

Cut one 5 1/2 X 2 3/4 from the header on the sentiments paper, 'Merry Christmas', two sentiment blocks and fussy-cut a foliage cluster.
Cut one 5 1/2 X 5 1/2, and four 5 1/2 X 2 3/4 from green patterned paper.

Cut two foliage pieces as shown.

On the outside of the left and right flap attach green patterned paper, and foliage pieces, highlight with red Glitzn'Glamour.  Attach fussy-cut foliage cluster to the outside of the bottom flap.

Attach patterned paper to the inside flaps as shown, adhere sentiment blocks.  Die-cut a 'Christmas Trinket' from Core'dinations glitter card-stock and attach as pictured.

Highlight holly berries using red Glitz'n Glamour.

And here's what it looks like when closed up.

Quilted Greetings by Tracey Rohweder

#couturecreationsaus

Welcome to another day at Couture Creations.
It's hard to believe that we are already half way through the year. And like me you might be thinking where the heck did that 6 months go?? Before we know it, Christmas will be here. So I'm determined to get an early  start on my Christmas cards this year.
Today I'm going to share with you a very easy and quick Christmas card.
Couture Creations Christmas Emporium Collection is just gorgeous, and I'm
excited to be working with these gorgeous papers in blues and greys.
To start my card, I've die cut lots of diamonds with the smallest Nesting Diamonds die in various patterned papers. This is perfect for using up scraps and left overs pieces that  might not be big enough to use elsewhere.

I've cut 40 diamonds to fit my 5x7 card, and have then inked around the edges.  I'll have a few die cuts left over to use as corner bits.

I've covered the front of my card with 18mm double sided tape.  This will make it very easy to assembly my pattern.

Starting at the left corner, I've lined up my diamonds with the corner of the card and then along the top. Once I was happy with where the top line was in place,  it's just like fitting together a jigsaw puzzle. But the best part - there is no wrong place! You can add your pieces how ever you like. I tried to make sure that the same patterned paper didn't touch,  so it looks very random.

Continue arranging the  diamonds until the card front is full.

If there are any little gaps just add some
Of the extra diamonds and cut off necessary.

Turn your card over and trim the excess paper flush with the card.
Mount the "Seasons Greetings" onto coordinating paper and then back with  12mm foam mounting tape for dimension.

Place the greeting down the bottom of your card and add  large pearls at the intersection of each diamonds.
And we're done!
It's quick & easy (perfect if you need to make several) and a fantastic way to use up your scraps.  Which means we can save money...which means....more money for new stash!  I can't wait to use this design to make up some birthday cards as well.
How soon will you start on your Christmas cards?
Thanks for stopping by.
