Introducing Tracey Cooley

#couturecreationsaus #ultimatecrafts

Hi everyone Tracey Cooley here, I am the mother of 2 fierce Little Cheerleaders Miss 7 (Jordyn) and Miss 11 (Tayla) I have been married to one of my best friends Phil for 14 years and we have traveled the world together with our kids, going to places like Africa, Egypt, Hawaii and recently Las Vegas for Miss 11 to compete in her first international cheer competition and then onto Anaheim to my favourite place on earth, Disneyland.
Along with Being Art Deco Creations Special Project Designer I am also the Media Presenter where I  Guest Present for special product launches on Create and Craft TV in the UK and California Crafting in the USA. I have also Presented on HSN and have presented live from CHA.
I started papercrafting when I got married coming back from my honeymoon and first trip to Africa with 3000 photos that I did not know how to showcase. My sister took me to local scrapbooking store and was hooked. I bought my own store some years later then sold that to have our second daughter I then started designing and Teaching at major Australian Craft Shows and local stores.

The thing I love most about this fantastic craft is that it does not matter how old you are, you can be 5 years old or 75 years old and still enjoy it. It also lets me be Tracey Cooley, so often as busy mothers we forget who we are as we become simply MUM... the creativity within my papercraft allows ME to come out even just for the short time it takes to make a card.

I hope this years journey with Art Deco Creations helps to inspire you to be YOU just for a short time too. Wether it be making a card together or just sitting having a coffee whilst you read the Art Deco Creations Blog.

I am absolutely delighted to once again be the Special Projects Designer for the ArtDeco Creations Creative Team.  I love this company and would not know what to do with myself if I was not designing with their gorgeous products.

Sea Breeze.... I love this range as it is so versatile in the fact that I can make beachy layouts with it or nautical cards to under the sea creations.
I have done an under the sea card for my first blog post for this term.

I started this card by embossing some metal shim with the Couture Creations Sea Breeze Collecting Shells embossing folder.

Then with some Blue and Green Spritz I added colour to the shim drying with a Couture Creations Heat Tool.while drying add some glitter for added sparkle

then I cut some matching cardstock Coral from the Couture Creations Sea Breeze Seahorse and Coral Die, adding them to the side of my card making a bush of seaweed.

I added some shells and shell pieces and built my cluster up to the desired shape.

I then cut a Seahorse from the same die set out of Couture Creations Glitter paper white and added to the front of my card

Then I cut from white card stock a banner from the Couture Creations Sea Breeze Tied Anchor and Banner die set. I stamped the die cut with a greeting and placed it among my seaweed.

I hope you like the effect of the metal shim behind my under the sea scene.
