You make me happy by Patti Hamil

I have one more Damask Delight page to share with you. Sadly, this is my last post with Couture Creations! I have enjoyed my time here more than I can say, and have made lasting friends! I know the new team will have just as much fun!!!

Now onto my project. I had some left over scraps of my Damask Delight paper from CHA projects and didn't want to waste them. I chose some with pink to match the picture of our Granddaughter! I started out by die cutting some circles in various sizes using circle nesting dies. I cut two for each bloom that I wanted.

I used my Couture Creations Premium Craft Scissors and distressed the edges of each one. Then I took a button and placed in the center of each smaller circle. I also used a piece of Couture Creations foam tape between the layers for dimension.

I popped a Self Adhesive Pearl in Moonlight in the center of each button. I used some smaller blooms with Self Adhesive gemstones in the center to finish them off. I inked the edges with some matching ink.

I journaled around the edge and did some "faux stitching" with my Zig markers.

This was a really simple page, but I love the result. You can get a lot of mileage from your paper if you save your scraps. I have a set of plastic stacking drawers that I keep my scraps in, it's really nice for cards and with the larger pieces you can do layouts like this!!!!! Thanks so much for stopping by!!!
