I love recycling things and as you have seen Pringle tins
are one of the best things to re purpose.
I have added lots of altered leaves from the Everyday Essentials collection
and flowers to create a candle holder for
large pillar candles.
You will need to cut lots of the strawberry leaves, depending
on how much you overlap them. But of course with dies this
is made super easy. Alter the leaves with the little
step by step below and adhere to
top of tin with hot glue for a fast bond.
Trim pringle tin down to the size you want.
Cover with Vintage rose patterned paper.
Die cut Edith border in white cardstock, ink edges
with a matching ink.
Cover with Dimensional magic and white glitter,
for a sparkly look and adhere to bottom
of tin.
Step 1
Daub Strawberry leaf with Peeled paint Distress ink and a
Couture Creations Dauber
Step 2
Now daub with a little worn lipstick Distress ink for
an aged and rustic look.
Step 3
Smear Glitz in Glamour glitter over the top
to create a thin glaze of glitter.
Handy Hint
Squeeze out the glitter glue in a little puddle to swipe
over the leaves.
Also you can scrunch the leaves before altering
them to give a more natural shape.
This would make a wonderful gift or great
addition to your household decor.
I will have to make 2 to have a matching
pair.
I have cut out a scalloped circle too in white cardstock
adhere to the bottom of the tin and added, 2mm rhinestones
to the edges.
Then adhere to the plastic lid of the pringle
tin to give a slightly raised look.
