Paradise Hawaiian Style by Tracey Cooley

#couturecreationsaus #ultimatecrafts

Hi Everyone

It has been so long since I have created a layout so I decided when I came across this photo I took in Hawaii a couple of years ago, that it matched the blues in Sue Smyth's Magnolia Lane just beautifully, and with that I set to work.

I started this LO by doing some toothbrush painting with Black spritz on One of the beautiful Blue Magnolia Lane Papers from the paper Pad, then I added some black stamped images using the Ultimate Crafts Magnolia Lane Timeless Garden Stamp Set.

Then I added some of the reverse Pattern Paper along with some Ultimate Craft Cardstock to Highlight around my photograph distressing and inking the edges as I went.  I also added one side of a Magnolia Lane Square Frame Die Cut.

Then I took some Couture Creations Flowers and mixed and matched them to make a fuller texture and spritzed them with a matching blue spritz, then adhered them back together.

I added these flowers along with a black one on diagonal sides of my pic.
Cutting Die cuts from metallic green card stock with the Ultimate Craft Magnolia Lane Rose Cutting Leaf Die I added some foliage to my flowers. Along with some of the die cuts from the Magnolia Lane ephemera pack and some 3mm Pearls in Cornflower Blue.

In the top Corner of the LO I added a Magnolia Lane Tassels Die Cut with a flower and some leaves.

And the bottom corner I added some Ephemera and the one of the gorgeous Magnolia Corners.

Then with my Couture Creations Handheld Essentials Stylus I added a Rub on. (It felt like I had not used a rub on in some time so it was nice to use some of the ones in my stash and the stylus works great).

It felt good to get my photos out and go through them thinking about what was happening when they were taken and it was easy to get back into layouts with the help of Ultimate Crafts and Couture Creations.

Brayden and Brittany by Kerrie Gurney

#couturecreationsaus #ultimatecrafts

Hi Everyone
Kerrie here for Couture Creations
I have wanted to scrap this gorgeous photo of my son and his girlfriend for awhile, I am so glad I waited as Ultimate Crafts Magnolia Lane collection is perfect for this photo.

I created  an A4 layout to go into a clipboard frame I bought awhile ago
I have left the clipboard plain as I will change out the layout and ribbon, I really like creating A4 layouts as they are super quick and I like to have different sized layouts in my albums as it adds some interest when flicking through.

Ok onto creating

I started off by embossing a scrap piece of  Denim Ultimate Crafts Cardstock using Magnolia Lace Embossing Folder

next up I die cut the Magnolia Wreath (just the corner) die and Tassels die cutting an extra tassel again using Denim Ultimate Crafts Cardstock

Starting with 2 sheets from the Magnolia Lane 6x6 paper pad leaving on the little strip and then I cut a strip from 12x12 Magnolia Borders patterned paper.
I cut around the shaped of the Magnolia Lace embossed piece.
I then distressed the edges of all pieces and layered them onto a double mat of Ivory and Denim Ultimate Crafts Cardstock
I then added my diecuts, some resin corners, a magnolia paper flower and some ribbon.

I  added some Glitzin' Glamour Glitter Glue to the paper flower, the flowers on the patterned paper and also to the tassels to add some sparkle without it being too much

I wanted this layout to be fresh looking so I have left it very minimal so that this gorgeous photo of B&B shines

I finished off by adding a resin frame and some ribbon to the clipboard frame
This layout now hangs proudly on the wall in our home.
When decide to pop it in an album I will slide a tag under the photo with my journaling on

Shabby Chic Tag by Tina Connolly

#couturecreationsaus  #ultimatecrafts

Hi there!
Here's a quick tag to create, I love making these, I'll be using this one as a bookmark when I'm relaxing by the pool on my cruise for the next 9 days!
These new dies in the Magnolia Lane Collection are just divine!
They cut beautifully, I think I'm in love!

I used Waterfall Frame and cut it in half to 'stretch' it behind my layers.

Emboss white cardstock using Magnolia Lace embossing folder.

Cut out an image from Poetical Labels and double mat after distressing all the layers.

Spray mists onto embossed white cardstock, and once dry attach diecut and all the layers.

Pearls were added for a bit of subtle bling.

With Sympathy/Thinking of You Card by Tracey Rohweder

#couturecreationsaus  #ultimatecrafts
Thanks for stopping by the Couture Creations blog today.
Tracey R here to share the Magnolia Lane love!
Have you seen our brand new collection at your local shop yet?  I can assure you it's even prettier in person. It's been very popular so don't leave it too long to get yours or you may just miss out!
Today I've sharing this card I made to send as a 'With Sympathy/Thinking of You" card to a friend who recently lost a family member.
I've used a piece of the 6x6 Magnolia Lane paper pad & the DieCut Ephemera pack
Firstly I've cut down a piece of pink & floral bordered 6x6 paper slightly smaller than my card, and inked the edges blue. I've then mounted the paper on 18mm foam tape to give
the card front some dimension.  Next I've placed a piece of 6mm doubled sided tape in the middle of the patterned paper to secure a piece of gauze.  (This won't be seen).
With over 40 pieces in the Diecut Ephemera pack you have so many pieces to choose from - it's a great addition to your stash.  I've chosen a rectangular Magnolia card, 3 butterflies and an extra Magnolia flower.

I've added more foam tape to the Magnolia card and placed it on top of the gauze in the center of the card.  I've then placed the single Magnolia flower over the flower on the card to make it look 3D.  I've  secured this with a 3D Foam Dot. I've added the Butterflies around the flower with Mini 3D Foam dots to raise them up.
Finally I've added Cornflower Blue 3mm pearls in each corner of the Magnolia Card, and a Crystal 2mm Gemstone to the center of the Magnolia.

Hope you like the card.  I love how versatile the Magnolia Lane Collection is.

Blue Eyes by Cindy Porter

#couturecreationsaus   #ultimatecrafts

Hi everyone, today I'd like to share with you my latest creation for Couture Creations using the new Magnolia Lane collection designed by fellow DT member the very talented Sue Smyth.... this is a beautiful collection.... and here is my layout... "blue eyes

these gorgeous papers lend themselves to creating such pretty layouts...

I began by fussy cutting out the flower and tassel corner  from the damask curtains paper...

I applied foam tape and strips to mount up my fussy cutting....

I just love the pretty packaging of the Magnolia Lane embellishments... it's so pretty that I couldn't resist using some of it to back my photo...

I used more of the papers from this gorgeous range to layer up behind my photo...

I used a stencil I created by die cutting the new Damask frame die from a magazine cover; and applied some modelling paste to my background page...

the Damask stencil gives some amazing texture to the background...

I added a die cut border under the photo layers and dic cut butterflies to the butterflies on the background paper to create 3D effects...

I attached the flower and tassel corner over my photo... and then added flower and butterfly diecuts and a pink rosette...

I finished the layout off with some gemstones on the tassels and some scattered 2mm gemstones...
