"Hope" Card by Katrina Thompson

#artdecocreations   #couturecreationsaus    #ultimatecrafts

Hello everyone. Today I am sharing with you a card using the new Bohemian Bouquet Collection designed by Denise Boddey. When designing this card I have focused on another colour variation in the beautiful palette that this range brings to you. You will see another of the new dies in action and also the beautiful chipboard designs that compliment this range along with a dash of hot foiling. I hope you enjoy. Katrina

Cut a piece of the Jungle, (green), cardstock to fit the Jungle Background Die. Attach a piece of the Die Cut'n Bond to the back of the cardstock ready for die cutting.

Once die cut, remove a portion of the inner floral section away from the frame.

Using the center doily from the 2 piece Fine Doily Chipboard Set and your Go Press and Foil Machine, I have coloured coordinated the doily with the patterned papers using the Pink Mirror Finish Heat Activated Foils.

Cut the lady and Hope sentiment from the 6x6 paper pad as pictured.

Blot the doily with white ink to give it a mottled appearance. Attach the lady to the Hot Foiled Doily. Dust the die cut with white ink to make it appear cloudy and cut a patterned matt, 10.5cm wide x 15.2cm high, from the 6x6 patterned paper as pictured.

Cut a selection of the flower elements from the 12x12 patterned paper sheet as pictured.

Tuck the 'Hope' sentiment between the petals and leaves and mount with foam tape behind.

Card Construction: Cut a Snow White matt, 11.3cm wide x 16cm high and distress the edges.
Cut a Precious, (pink) card front 12.5cm wide x 17.5cm high. Ink the edges in white to soften. Cut an additional pink strip, 1.7cm wide x 15.7cm high, ink the edges in white and distress them.
Cut a Jungle, (green) card backing 15cm wide x 17.5cm high. Fold a 2.5cm vertical hinge down the left edge.
Attach the pink and green to form the card base. Overlap the green hinge, butting the pink edge into the fold.

Attach the Snow White matt as pictured.

Center and attach the patterned paper as pictured. Attach the pink strip along the left edge and cut a 1cm strip from the 12x12 patterned paper to run through the middle.

Peel away the backing from the Die Cut n' Bond and attach to the card base.

Attach the lady using foam mount tape. Arrange the flower elements around the image to complete.

Thankyou for Looking, Happy Creating!! K

Loving Dad - Father's Day Layout by Julie Schinkel

#artdecocreations   #couturecreationsaus    #ultimatecrafts

Hi everyone! It's Julie here back on the blog today sharing a clean and simply layout that I have created using the The Ritz collection from Ultimate Crafts. With Father's Day just around the corner, I thought it was the perfect time to use some of the new and soon to be released chipboard pieces from Couture Creations.

To start I took one sheet from each of The Ritz 12x12 paper pads - Gatsby, Evening Cocktail and Theatre. If you don't have all three paper pads then you could use three papers from the one pad. Choose one pattern that contrasts the other two.

I've cut the three papers down and arranged as shown in the photo below. The largest piece and second largest piece are both matted onto Ultimate Crafts Obsidian Cardstock.

I took some of the Couture Creations 6mm double sided tape and stuck it down around the entire piece of gold and black patternedd paper. It should be positioned so it sticks out from underneath the lightest patterned paper piece as a faux layer.

Next I took the Loving Dad chipboard and covered it using Heat Activated Foil in Gold Mirror. I did this using the GoPress & Foil Machine. The combination I used is: Metal adapter plate, foil coloured side down, chipboard piece placed face down and a carstock shim. You will see in one of my photos below just how shiny and beautiful heat foiled chipboard turns out.

I then took some of the Mini Cogs chipboard and the large clock from the Clockface Set and heat embossed using Midnight Black Super Fine embossing powder.

I then die cut some Obsidian cardstock using the Classy Flower Die and Waves Border Die. I also used the leaves die from the Magnolia Lane Rose Cutting Impressed Die Set to add to the flower. The flower and leaves were cut a second time using Die Cut & Bond tape adhered to some Obsidian cardstock. The adhesive backing removed and some gold foil adhered to the sticky die cuts. To finish, I added some pearls and gemstones around the page and in the centre of the mini cogs.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope that you enjoyed this tutorial.
Until next time.
Happy Crafting!

More Elegant Ritz Cards by Adriana Bolzon

#artdecocreations   #couturecreationsaus    #ultimatecrafts

Hi everyone. :) Adriana back again with another couple of cards using
the fabulous paper collection designed by Sue Smyth "THE RITZ" collection
available from Artdeco - Couture Creations - Ultimate Crafts

Using the awesome embossing folder in the collection for the backgrounds for both of my cards. I place a 5'x7' piece of
Couture Creations - Matte Bronze A4 foil sheet CO725408
inside the
Adding a Artdeco theme lady images from the
and some of the hotfoil stamps
and decorative dies from THE RITZ collection.

Here is my first card:

I cut out 4 of the The Ritz- Ultimate Crafts - ULT157860 Ritzy Clip Decorative Die in black card stock and placed them at each corner of the card.

Using the Go Press, Foil & Machine by Couture Creations,  and the Ultimate Crafts - The Ritz- Artdeco Tag Hotfoil plate ULT157871 and white card stock, I cut it in half and glued it to sides of my artdeco lady image.

A very simple but elegant card.

Here is my 2nd card with the same Embossing Folder
but I changed it to landscape, adding some flowers and Anna Griffin "Best wishes" hot foil stamp.

The centre piece of the Ultimate Crafts The Ritz Collection - Emboss and stamp set Classy Invitation ULT157839 is the exact size of a pop out piece from the
