Flowers and Butterfly Card with Jowilna

Welcome to today's blog post. I created this card using the Modern Essentials Nesting Butterfly Frames. But instead of foiling it I used ink and created a letterpress effect using pigment ink. A stunning effect that is really quick and easy.


 

Step 1 - Ink the nesting die using a pigment ink and then emboss it onto purple cardstock. Use washi tape to tack it in place onto your cardstock once inked. Place it in your GoPress and foil and roll through your GoCut machine. Carefully remove it from the GoPress and then cut the shape out using your GoCut and Emboss machine. Add watercolour splats to the cut shape for a stunning effect. 
 
Step 2 - Foil and cut butterflies onto some recycled cardstock.

Step 3 - Cut out some flowers from the patterned sheet and ink the edges.

Step 4 - Assemble your card using all the elements created. Use foam tape to raise some of the flowers and butterfly. Use watercolour paint to add paint splats onto the background for added effect and finish off the card with some diamanté.
