Life is Beautiful card with John
Today I have another card for you made with the beautiful Butterfly Garden collection from Couture Creations.
Here is the card that I made.
Here's how I made it up.
Trim the black cardstock to 9.5cm x 13.5cm
Trim the purple cardstock to 9cm x 13cm
Trim the patterned paper to 8cm x 12cm
Layer these three pieces of cardstock together and fix to the front of the A6 card blank.
Select a circular tag from the ephemera kit and then punch or die cut a circle from the cream cardstock that is larger than the tag.
Use adhesive foam pads to fix this to the card front.
Select a butterfly from the ephemera kit and use adhesive foam pads on the top and PVA glue on the bottom to fix it to the circular tag.
Select the 'Life Is Beautiful' sentiment strip from the ephemera kit and glue it across the circular tag, raising it slightly in the middle.
At this point, a simple ribbon at the top of the tag would work however if you would like to take this one step further, you could try the following.
Heat up one of the texture tile hotfoil stamps on the GoPress & Foil.
Fuse some swatches of this to the remaining cardstock and then randomly die cut or punch some floral and leaf shapes from it.
Arrange and fix these around the sentiment strip.
As a final step, I also added some adhesive gems for a little bling.
And that completes this creation.
