Dream Big Canvas by Amanda Baldwin
#couturecreationsaus
Hi Creators!
Amanda here today,
& I’ve got a
gorgeous Paris inspired canvas art
to share with you today!
Isn’t this just the
sweetest?!!
It features some of
my all-time favourite Couture Creations products……
To make this Paris
inspired creation you’ll also need a few cute chippies from our friends over at
Imaginarium Designs:
Let’s get started!
First, paint the
canvas (I used a 6 x 8” )
& while drying cut the following dies;
Secondly, cut a long
strip of patterned paper to wrap around the canvas edges vertically. Run this
strip through the fabulous French inspired,
Amabassador 5 x 7” Embossing Folders: Great Fleur De Lis,
as pictured.
Using your Couture Creations Stainless Steel Scissors,
distress the background paper and then
adhere to canvas.
To soften the canvas,
apply gesso to canvas sides, & background paper edges.
Attach embossed
strip, Moulin Rouge die & small heart image.
Cut the Photo Strip
die into 2 uneven lengths.
Attach ticket, Paddington
Street Lamp & both segments of Photo Strip as
shown.
Ink your Imaginarium Designs chipboard, apply gesso,
and then attach to canvas.
Use a 3D Glue Spot to
attach the sentiment to give it a little ‘lift’ off the canvas & attach
blooms.
WOW!
Such a pretty
Parisian canvas!
Hope you enjoyed this little 'how-to' canvas creation!
