Hallo and welcome to another make created with the Gentlemans Emporium range from Couture Creations.

This one again features both the Gentleman's Emporium set and also my own Cut Foil & Emboss dies too.

Here is the finished card, hope you like it :)

Here is how I made it.

I began by cropping down the card stock and papers as follows:

Obsidian - 13cm

Fencepost - 12cm

Snow White - 10.5cm

Pattered Paper - 10cm

These were layered onto the front of the card using double sided tape.

I then used the inked letterpress technique, the Hello Cut Foil and Emboss Die on the smooth black card to create the sentiment.

At the same time I used the same technique and card with the starburst background Cut Foil & Emboss die.

This was glued to the front of the card using the Turbo glue pen.

Having pre-selected a few of the die cut elements from the Gentleman's Emporium ephemera pack I glued one in the middle of the card and then used foam pads to raise the outer two figures up a little.

Returning to the cardstock I created a sentiment panel by cutting the following layers:

Obsidian: 9 cm x 3.5 cm

Fencepost: 8.5 cm x 3 cm

Snow White: 8cm x 2.5cm

These were layered together with double sided tape and then fixed in place on the card using foam pads.

The sentiment was then put into position, again using foam pads.

The final touch was a little bling in the corners with the seaspray adhesive gems.

A dapper salutation to any gentlemen in your life, yes?

Here is how I made it.

First, I trimmed down the cardstock and patterned paper as follows:

Obsidian - 12cm square

Hippodrome - 11.5cm square

Delicate Medlar - 11cm square

Patterned Paper - 10.5cm square

To start the card I first added the Obsidian and Hippodrome layers of card stock to the front of the square white card.

I then used the letterpress technique with the Woven Circles die and some white card stock. This was then layered onto the patterned paper and Delicate Medlar card stock.

I then wrapped a piece of ribbon around the centre of that stack and secured it in place with double sided tape.

This was then applied to the card front using foam pads.

Two bows were then created from the same ribbon - you can of course use ready made ones if you prefer - and one was glued into place on the ribbon strip with PVA glue.

I then used foam pads to layer a couple of die cut sentiments from the Gentleman's Emporium ephemera pack and added these to the front of the card, adding the second bow on top.

Finally, I added a couple of adhesive gems to finish.

Definitely a timeless and elegant card, don't you think?

John Bloodworth - Gentleman Crafter back again with some more amazing cards all created with one of the cut, foil and emboss dies from his original collection.

Using different coloured card stock and adding unique little embellishments - each of these cards all end up slightly different in the end.

This cut, foil and emboss die is called Cathedral Window Background CO726771

It's quite a lovely and with the soft swirling background and the effect the foils created with the Go Press and Foil machine, they really look stunning.

Once foiled, I added some gemstones and a layered decoupage flower on the left hand side. A stamped sentiment in the middle of the die.
