A Little Birthday Wish Gift Box by Jo Piccirilli
#couturecreationsaus
Hello crafty people! Thanks for stopping by. Today I have a little gift box to share with you.
It has a drawer underneath just perfect for filling with treats.
Here's how with a few basic products I made this.
Using my rectangle scallop dies I cut two and then made a little drawer to fit. I then cut my cardstock to wrap around my drawer and glued together.
I then made a simple easel card again using my rectangle scallop dies to sit on top. To decorate my box, I embossed some co-ordinations cardstock with the new embossing folder called Fleur de lis and cut pieces to fit my box.
From cereal boxes I cut two of the Classical die. I then inked them with versamark and embossed with the gold embossing powder. I also used this technique on the ornate corners of the box which were cut from the Elegant Square die. I cut these in half on the diagonal to create corners.
Stamp a sentiment on a tag. I used the Victorian Rectangle dies and then use some mounting foam so that the back part of the card has something to lean against.
Here's another look with the drawer open. I think I will go back and cover the inside of my drawer too just to finish it off.
Thanks for letting me share :) Thanks also for all the lovely feedback and love that is left on our blog and Facebook page. It is much appreciated!
Until next time
