Wow! We are almost at the end of January already.. How time flies. Yesterday I sent my eldest daughter off to her first day of high school. Some of you would have watched her grow on my layouts over the years she is such a good girl (i must have done something right with this one lol) and it was time for her to spread her wings and fly.
I made this card with the very lovely Enchanted Tea Party by Couture Creations.
I started with 2 pieces of pattern paper 12x12 and the other 6x6 from the Enchanted Tea Party Paper Pads
I took the 12x12 Pattern paper and cut certain elements from it including the top hat, tea pot and tea cup and the fob watch.
add these elements to the 6x6 pattern paper on different heights with various amounts of foam mounting tape.
taking some Couture Creations Tyed Dyed flowers and cut a small v in each petal so as to match the flowers of the pattern paper, then place them as desired around your layered elements.
I added some muslin to effect.
then using the Buterfly from the Ultimate Crafts Oh La La Framed Butterfly flourish set I cut 2 Glitter Buterflies from Couture Creations Glitter paper, then I cut them in half and adhered the same ides together o form a flying butterfly.
From the same Glitter Cardstock I cut 2 pieces of foliage with the Couture Creations Enchanted Tea Party Bouquet Die to use as fillers on my card
Then of course to add some contrast I used the card symbols from the Couture Creations Enchanted Tea Party Nesting set cut from glitter cardstocks and placed them in strategic positions.
I then added a stamp from the Ultimate Craft Oh La La Collection with the appropriate message for my big girl.
I then added the entire thing to a 6x6 Card Blank made from Ultimate Crafts Cardstock
