This is a style that can be used for just about any ocassion, and can be decorated any way you like. In my opinion they have a bit more pizazz than a regular card.
These cards have been around for a very long time, and there are a couple of ways it can be made, but this one seems to be the most popular format.
It is incredibly easy to make, but is admittedly a little fiddly. Especially the first time around. Because of this, it's difficult to explain, so I've made a video for you.
In the video, I have all the measurements but they are listed here as well
The finished card is almost the same as a regular card size. (Some of these sizes are slightly different to what I quoted in the video.)
4 1/4" x 8 1/2" Base Card Stock scored at the 5 1/2" mark
3 3/4" x 5" Base Card Stock scored at the 4 " mark
4" x 5" White Card Stock
2 7/8" x 4" Gentleman’s Emporium Collection Paper
2 3/4" x 3 3/4" Gentleman’s Emporium Collection Paper
