Layout with matching Pocket Pages by Tina Connolly

I had quite a few photos taken before and during my daughter's dance team performance at Carols By Candlelight last year.  Some of them weren't perfect but I wanted to include them anyway, so decided to do some Project Life style pages.  I found the Couture Creations and Core'dinations Whitewash cardstock worked perfectly.  I was able to create the pages quickly with room for lots of photos and journaling.
(Some of the journaling, like team-mates names, will be added after photographing)
I made a feature of my favorite photo of my daughter and one of her best friends, by creating a traditional layout.

Firstly I die-cut these designs from Coredinations cardstock

Hearts cut from vellum and cardstock.
 Arrange as shown.

Layer elements to create a focal point.

Strips were embossed and lightly sanded

Emboss a small piece of cardstock with Peacock Fans embossing folder and sand.

So this will sit in my album with pocket pages so I can include lots of photos and still have plenty of room for journaling
I created a number of pocket pages by cutting 4x6 or 4x3inch cardstock, rounding the corners and embellishing by adding dry embossing or diecuts

Core'dinations carkstock was embossed and sanded, with diecut layers added.

I added diecuts to printed papers to create interest.

Looks great, I like the idea of combining the feature LO with the pocket pages to use up the extra photos.
