Love Easel Card by Adriana Bolzon

#couturecreationsaus #ultimatecrafts

Hello there everyone , Adriana Bolzon here today sharing with you all another tutorial for Couture Creations - Ultimate Crafts. The Magnolia Lane papers and embellishments are all so gorgeous and the beautiful papers and embellishments are all Designed by Sue Smyth.

Today I have created a very soft and very vintage "LOVE" easel card. I love to create easel cards, because they fold away and nicely fit into an envelope, but also once given to a special someone, they can be displayed beautifully , just like a piece of artwork.

Using the Magnolia Lane papers and embellishments to decorate my special card.

The side view of the card, I added some paper Magnolia flowers in the center of card, I coloured the flowers with a touch of Rusty Hinge ink pad.

The die cuts were cut with White card stock, I gently coloured the dies with Rusty Hinge ink pads and Island Blue ink pad. Applying the colour with Couture Creations Sponge Daubers.

Magnolia Lane - Materials just some of the materials required for this card, there is also a list at the end of this blog post, of all materials used.

Choose 2 small sheets of papers from the small Magnolia Lane paper pad and a square white card stock card. Score half way down of the front half of the card.
My card size is a square 14cm x 14cm.

This fold creates a dome shape, that can be easily flatted down to be placed inside an envelope when giving the card to someone special.

Cut a square piece of paper, about 13.5 cm x 13.5 cm square (this is for the inside of card) and also cut a piece of paper 13.5 cm x 6cm.

Using the Magnolia Lace stamp set and Vintage ink pad, randomly stamp the postcard stamp over the papers, as shown below.

Adhere these papers with double sided tape to the inside and front bottom half of the card.

Cut the following dies, as shown below with white card stock.
Note: I used also the Nesting Die from Couture Creations C0723956 Vintage signs, I cut one larger of the two with white card stock and the other, slightly smaller with Magnolia Lane paper.

Adhere these two die cut outs on top of each other with double sided tape.

Apply some ink pad colour to the die cuts, I used a Rusty Hinge ink pad colour and glue them on to the card, as shown below.

ONLY adhere the bottom of the Vintage Sign die cut pieces to the front of card, as shown, with one strip of doubled side tape.
Glue all the other die cuts, as shown in photograph, below.

Adhere the corners die cut outs to the inside of the card, as shown below.

Your card should look like this, ready to add the flowers and leaves and other embellishments.

Apply coloured inks to the leaves of the Rose Cutting die cuts, as shown, add some sparkle with Glitzing glitter glue - Crystallina.

Colour the centres of the Magnolia paper flowers with Rusty Hinge ink pad.
Secure with foam tape, as shown in the photograph.
Add butterflies from the Magnolia Adhesive chipboard embellishment.

Cut the word "LOVE" with black card stock, (this little word die cut is included in the Magnolia Corners die set, ULT157528)

Decorate the bottom inside of card with a Magnolia Lane Adhesive chipboard frame and butterfly. Decorate the front of card with chipboard butterflies.
