Just Be You by Lesa Bird

Hi It's Lesa here and today I have created my layout using with Couture Creations The Harmony Embossing Folders and Secret Treasures Decorative Dies.

I designed this sketch for today's Layout

Firstly I embossed a piece of white cardstock using the Rainbow Wave embossing folder, I added a little colour here and there with a marker,

and rubbed the edges with ink using Couture Creations sponge dauber

next up I embossed a piece of red Core'dinations cardstock using the Bird Of Paradise embossing folder, and lightly sanded it using a Couture CreationsSanding Block

From the Secret Treasure decorative die collection I cut one each of the

Tabbed Journal Tab and Classic Chevron from Core'dinations Glitter Silk cardstock.

I then ran the journal tab diecut through the Zig Zag embossing folder and rubbed over the top with a black alcohol ink pad

I die cut 4 circles using the 4 smallest circle nesting die from a plastic soft drink bottle, and coloured them with a permanent marker

Then using tweezers heat the edges of the plastic circles over a candle flame, being careful not to over heat you just want the edges to melt to give some shape to create a one of a kind flower.
