Altered Paint Tin by Jowilna Nolte

#couturecreationsaus

Welcome to today's blog post with me Jowilna - it's with a heavy heart that I say farewell to this amazing team as this is my last blog post for Couture Creations, but definitely not my last post using their amazing products.

Today I am sharing this altered paint tin I made using the Vintage Rose paper collection and the new Hearts Ease die collection as well as some classic favorites like the oval die set. A quick and easy project to recycle an old paint tin and turn it into a functional item for your craft room.

Step 1: Die cut the oval frame shape. Adhere the two largest oval dies together using a piece of washi tape to hold them together. Cut the oval frame and ink the edges.

step 2: Use the center oval die from the Postale Ovals CO724044 out of the patterned paper - ink the edges.

Adhere the die cut elements to a painted empty paint tin. Use brads to add some texture to the outside cut oval frame.

Die cut the  shape from the Hearts Ease collection and adhere it to the right hand side of the oval frames. CO724315

Adhere some small punched flowers and a decorative resin butterfly to  the side. Finish off the look with some metallic pearls.

Visit the Couture Creations website for all the new releases, and the blog for continuous inspiration. Don't miss out on all the new inspiration from the 2015 team - and continue to be inspired by this amazing product range! it has been an honor indeed to work for this generous company.
