ELEGANT RITZY CARD by Adriana Bolzon

Hi everyone. :) Adriana here today on the Couture Creations blog.
I have been playing with the awesome
latest paper collection designed by Sue Smyth "THE RITZ" collection
available from Artdeco - Couture Creations - Ultimate Crafts

Today, I have created a very elegant and wonderful card with images towards the back of the Paper pad, "Evening Cocktail" 12x12 Paper Pad" along with the

Go Press, Foil & Machine by Couture Creations, and some of the hotfoil stamps
and decorative dies from THE RITZ collection.

Here is my card with a step by step picture process of this card.

The elegant lady image is from one of the back pop out pages from the
Ultimate Crafts The Ritz Collection - Evening Cocktail 12x12 paper pad ULT157822

I added a touch of Pale Pink and Strawberry Surprise coloured card stock to all the gold, white and black that is in the paper collection.
I think added some colour to these papers just adds a finishing touch.

I embossed a piece of Ultimate Crafts Fairy Wings cardstock ULT200079 with the Ultimate Crafts Ritz collection Rose Trellis Embossing folder ULT157837

Gently rubbing a little of the 2 way glue over the raised embossed image, when slightly dry rub a little of leftover gold foil over to give a very distress look to the embossed yardstick. I do love this distress effect and a great idea in using leftover foils.

Layering all the cardstock and papers as below.

Cut out and pop out the images as shown below and cut 2 Deco Feather die cuts with Black card stock and
Ultimate Crafts - Decorative Die The Ritz Deco Feather ULT157853
adhering some Ultimate Crafts Fairy Wings ULT200079 card stock in the centre of framed image.

Using the Couture Creations Gold Matte Vintage Gold Foil CO725355
together with Go Press, Foil & Machine by Couture Creations,

and the TODO Fronds and Flourish hot foil stamp CNCP0516
Hot foil and cut out this foiled image and place on the card sideways

TIPS FOR FOILING CHIPBOARD

1. Place a Metal plate shim on Hot plate of the Go Press & Foil Machine
2. Place a piece of foil down on the metal shim - colour faced down.
3. Place chipboard on top of foil, place a piece of card stock on top of the foil to cover it, place the lid of the Go Press & Foil machine down.
4. When ready - Slowing sliding the platform through your die cutting machine as per your instruction on how to use your machine.
