Hi everyone. :)   Adriana here on the blog today. Today I have created a few cards using the new release Couture Creations Let Everyday Be Christmas
Artdeco Creations - Couture Creations ask for it at your local scrapbooking store!!!! This collection is designed by Tina Higgins - a well known artist. I just love her vintage style and this Christmas collection is so pretty.

In this collection there are 12x12 paper pads and A4 paper pads, stunning Christmas dies and also a few new hotfoil stamps that can be used together
with the GoPress and Foil Machine by Couture Creations,

For today, I am going to show you all how to use one of the background decorative dies in this collection to create a different and unique background for your cards. The particular die that I am showcasing today is from this collection
and it is called

Couture Creations  Let Everyday Be Christmas
Christmas Baroque Background decorative die CO725515

Using the same background die in two different ways you can create so many different styles of cards. The gold foiling really sets off the vintage feel to these cards. I really love how you can add inks or colour to the foiled images after being foiled with the GoPress and Foil machine.

This card below showcases it by using the
Couture Creations  Let Everyday Be Christmas
Christmas Baroque Background decorative die CO725515
with Couture Creations Silver Foil A4 Mirror Board cardstock - CO725409
This die is just a fabulous die, it is so delicate and intricate and the best part is that it could be used for any occasion themed card besides for Christmas.

It can be used as you normally would by cutting it out with some card stock and with you manual die cutting machine, using it as a background to your card etc, just like this one I created below...

Here are a few close ups of the cards with all the product list.

For the background of my card I cut from the
Couture Creations  Let Everyday Be Christmas
Christmas Baroque Background decorative die CO725515
and glued it on the C6 card card stock.

Using the GoPress and Foil Machine and
Couture Creations Gold Matte Vintage Gold Foil C0725355
I hot foiled the following with the hot stamps from this collection.

Couture Creations  Let Everyday Be Christmas
Ornate Christmas Frame Hotfoil stamp CO725534
Christmas Holly Hotfoil stamp CO725527
and cut one of the
Glowing Candles Decorative Die CO725503
and gently inking the die cut with some ink colour.

After foiling the holly leaves , I gently add some ink colour to the leaves and berries and also added some gemstones and ribbon embellishment.

For the second card that I created, I used the same die,
Couture Creations  Let Everyday Be Christmas
Christmas Baroque Background decorative die CO725515
and with some foils and the
GoPress and Foil Machine by Couture Creations,
creating a different type of background in which you
can add inks and sprays once foiled.

STEP BY STEP TO CREATE A FOILED BACKGROUND
WITH NORMAL DECORATIVE DIES.

1. Place your decorative die with the cutting side face up on to the hot platform of the GoPress and foil machine.
2. Turn machine on as per instructions included with the machine.

3. Cut a piece of Couture Creations - Foil and place the colour side down of the foil onto the cutting edge of the decorative die.

4. Place your card stock on top of the foil and die.
5. Add an extra paper shim on top and close the top of machine, wait till this is heated through.
6. Place the GoPress and Foil machine platform on to your manual die cutting machine, run this through slowly and carefully.

NOTE: You don't want to cut the die cut and your card stock, you just want it to heat the foil on the cutting edge of the die and that will leave a foil image on your card stock.

Gently peel away the foil and PRESTO!!!

The finished hot foil image on the card stock ready to be used and a great decorative base.
You could leave it plain or you could add inks or spray mists of colour to the foiled back ground, creating a unique card or project.
Experiment - give it a try - have some crafting fun !!!!

and cut the centre out of the frame
Christmas Branches Decorative Die CO725508
for decoration on the bottom of the card, along with a cut out of the
Winter Corner Mini Die CO725517
adding a few die cuts of
Snowflakes Mini Die CO725521 around the card.

I inked the edges of the foiled card stock and flicked a bit of gold paint on the background.
