Butterfly Love Tag with Michelle
Hi everyone,
I'm back to share a little creativity with you all.
I love making tags. They are quick and easy to make and you can see an end result within minutes.
My tag features the gorgeous Couture Creations Butterfly Garden collection of papers and I'm sure you know by now that I love to create with the colour purple. So I pulled together some of the purple coloured patterned papers and away I went.
Unless I am making a shaped tag or a super duper big tag, most of my tags start life as a piece of cardstock 4 1/4" in length by 2 1/4" wide.
I then chose a patterned paper and cut to the same size of my base cardstock tag.
I've inked around edge using a black chalk ink.
I've made a frame and then torn another piece of patterned paper using the same paper as the frame and adhered.
I've cut out two shaped cardstock tags and adhered.
And then, well then I have layered and built my embellishment cluster.
A few crafting fibres, some muslin [cheesecloth], which I have pulled apart a little with my fingertips, a little twine, some floral baubles and a handmade foamiran bloom.
I have punched a hole at the top of my tag and I have plaited some twine thread together - wow, it's been a whilst since I've done this and then threaded through my tag and knotted.
My sentiment is a die cut 'love' and is a Couture Creations metal die. I have adhered patterned paper to cardstock and then run it through my die cutting machine.
my foamiran bloom
and again, my tag in its entirety ...

Happy crafting.
