John with a quick card.
Hallo and welcome to another project created with the Gentlemans Emporium range from Couture Creations.
This one is quick, easy and can be adapted to the recipient.
Here is what I used and how I put it together.
Items used
- CO726540 - Gentlemans Emporium Diecut Ephemera Set
- CO726813 - Gentlemans Emporium 6x6 Paper Pad
- ULT200015 - Mermaid Cardstock
- ULT200007 - Obsidian Cardstock
- CO726343 - Mini Guillotine
- CO724389 - Turbo Glue Pen
- CO726428 - Black Adhesive Foam Dots
- A6 White Card Blank
- Double-Sided Tape
Method
From the cardstock and 6x6 paper I cut the following to make the first layer:
- Obsidian - 10cm x 14cm
- Mermaid - 9.5cm x 13.5cm
- 6x6 Paper - 9cm x 13cm
These were fixed in place with some double-sided tape.
I trimmed down one of the die-cut borders and made a hanging pennant from it.
More layers were then cut and added. The layers measured as follows:
- Obsidian - 9cm x 6.7cm
- Mermaid - 8.5cm x 6.2cm
A Celery Biscuits die cut topper from the Gentlemans Emporium die cut ephemera pack was used as the third layer and was already at the size it needed to be.
These layers were all fixed in place with double-sided tape.
A die cut playing card from the ephemera pack was then added to the central stack with foam pads.
The black foam pads were again used to add the final detail which was the hand holding multiple playing cards, again from the die cut ephemera pack.
As you can see, quick, easy and - with the addition of a sentiment - easily tailored to the recipient or event.
I hope you liked this project and will join me on my next post.
John.
