Quick Anniversary Card with Cheryl
Hi All,
How's everyone's week been? Hope you had had plenty of time to craft.
I needed to make an anniversary card, but didn't have a lot of time.
This one is fairly quick and simple, and the design can be used for just about any occasion
I began with a white card base, then cut a topper using the same card. The Go Press & Foil machine was already heating up while I assembled my card pieces, and when it was hot enough, I foiled the topper in my new Go Power & Emboss Machine using the largest size in the Nesting Treasured Frames Cut, Foil & Emboss Die set. I really love this set and use it a lot.
I also foiled the smaller die using the same colour foil.
On the larger size, I had slight overfoiling, so decided to put the smaller one to the right, and cover the over foiling with flowers - just to be a bit different. If you didn't know, you wouldn't know! (I always say there are no mistakes in cardmaking, just opportunities).
I glued my main piece to the topper, but you could also use foam tape for extra dimension.
I stamped my greeting onto the smaller piece, then added some foam tape to lift the smaller piece up.
I really love how this card came out, and hope you do too!
