Are you up for a Sketch Challenge?
Hello and welcome to all our crafty friends around the world.
Sometimes when we create, we want to create, but we're not quite sure what we want our creativity to look like or where to start sometimes.
We have everything in front of us, pretty papers, a flower or two, a little chippy, perhaps some paints, sprays and stencils and the right photo, even a little time and then ... well sometimes nothing happens. Sometimes, we might also even have a complete blank.
Which some may say they have lost their mojo.
Which some may say they have lost their mojo.
So join us this month, create with our sketch and share your creativity.
I have designed a sketch to inspire you. Okay, have to admit my sketch skills aren't the best - so it's not flash - it's a stepping stone shall we say.
Now when you use a sketch for inspiration you don't have to follow the sketch, line for line, you just need to use the sketch as inspiration.
Below is my layout I created using the sketch above as a guide.
You can see the focus of my layout is the layering cluster on the sketch
and then I have used background tearing and layering of papers to build
visual interest in the background underneath my focus cluster and photo.
I used an older Couture Creations collection - Vintage Rose
