Hi there everyone!!!! Adriana here today on the Artdeco Creations - Couture Creations Blog, sharing a layout that I have created using the
papers & dies and also teamed up with the new release
"L'Aquarelle" collection.
I do love this collection, the lovely watercolour papers with tones of fresh soft colours, flowers and little birds, a great for paper collection for scrapbooking or card making and a new favourite collection of mine too!!
Here is my layout
"DISCOVER" layout by Adriana Bolzon
The took this photo in beautiful Venice, Italy. This bridge is made of white limestone and has little windows with stone bars and it is enclosed on the top and around, almost like a tunnel. It passes over the Rio di Palazzo and connects to the interrogation rooms or prison rooms in the Doge's Palace.
It was built in 1600 and is called "The Bridge of Sighs".
It was built in 1600 and is called "The Bridge of Sighs".
I actually walked inside this bridge and looked through those tiny stone windows. We did a tour of the Doge's Palace and I have more photos at the end of my blog post - if you are interested.
It is called the "Bridge of Sighs" as it was the last view of Venice that prisoners saw before their imprisonment in their cells in the Palace or their last view of Venice before they were executed, many hundred of years ago.
That's just a little bit about the history of this bridge but now for my tutorial on how I put it all together.
These are the products I used from the
Enchanted Tea party collection

I stamped around the edges of my layout with the
Ultimate Crafts "L'Aquarelle" stampset ULT157796 with vintage ink pad and dark brown ink pad.
I also stamped some of the flower blooms with the
Using the

together with the new release
Ultimate Crafts L'Aquarelle" ULT157802 Rolling Mesh stencil, I created the chunky golden texture to the layout. The pattern is very similar to the small stone windows on the Bridge - I have more photos at the end of this blog post.
I also used an Anna Griffin Ironwork stencil C0725017 with vintage ink pad along the bottom of the the layout.
Using the Couture Creations Enchanted Tea Party - Bouquet Die C0725047 for the leaves of the flowers, I cut this with Green card stock and place them underneath each cluster of flowers.
I added tags from
I love the phrase "There is a place, like no place on earth, a land full of enchantment, wonder and Mystery".
Underneath and on top of my doubled matted photo is an flourish lattice mould -
I created this with
Anna Griffin Embossing Paste CO724870 and plastic moulds, I spread the embossing paste over the mould with a spatula.
I let it dry in the moulds overnight and then after when it was all dry, I gently peeled them off out of the moulds, don't they look great. :)
I then painted them with black, white and gold paint and adhered them to the layout with a glue pen.
Around the centre in each flower, I added some
