Hi Papercrafters
Today I have a Corner Fold Card that I have created using the 'Seaside & Me' Collection.
This is a perfect little card for the man in your life who loves all things nautical, and the good news it is fun and you may learn a few new techniques along the way. 😉
Let's make it!
- Cut 'Paper Bag' Cardstock 8" wide x 6" tall. Score on long side at 4' and fold to form card.
- Make a pencil mark 3 1/2" down and 1/2" in from the front fold line. Fold the top right hand corner down to meet this mark. Secure with a little adhesive.
- Cut small shell patterned paper 3 7/8" x 5 7/8" and attach inside card. Cut 'Paper bag' 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" and attach on top of shell paper. Cut a second piece of shell paper 4 3/4" x 3" and attach on top of craft card. Finally cut a piece of 'Paper Bag' card 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" and attach.
4. Cut 'Chevron' paper from paper pad to 2 3/4" x 2 3/4", edge with a gold marker, (I used the zig gold calligraphy markers). Using the Go Press and Foil Machine and a 'Chocolate' foil, foil the 'Tall Ship' hot foil stamp. Attach this to 'Paper Bag' card, leaving a tiny border and then attach to some woodgrain paper from the paper pad, also leaving a tiny border. Attach this to the card front on the folded corner.
5. Attach some 'Die Cut n Bond' to some 'Paper Bag' card and die cut the gorgeous Coral Branch Die. Peel off adhesive backing and foil it, (foil up, simply tap against the adhesive). Attach to card front.
6. Attach 2 strips of foam tape to a piece of 'Paper Bag' card 4" wide x 3/4" tall, leaving a gap in the middle. Peel back the backing and tap foil, (foil up) until covered. Attach to card front.
7. Fussy cut some pretty shells and attach to the card front along with some sequins.
8. Foil chipboard sentiment and attach.
9. To finish, spray card with a shimmer spritz if you have one.
