Layered and Foil Card with John
Welcome everyone!
I hope you enjoy this fantastic layered card featuring Cut, Foil and Emboss dies
from the Modern Essentials range.
Instructions:
1. Cut a 4.75” x 6.75” mat from the cardstock and a 4.5” x 6.5” layer from the Le Petit Jardin paper.
2. Apply double sided tape to the paper layer and apply to the card mat.
3. Apply foam tape to the card mat and apply to the blank greeting card.
4. Using the metal adapter plate, cut foil and emboss four of the smaller frames and one of the larger frames.
5. Cut a 4.25” x 2.25” mat from the cardstock and a 4” x 2” layer from the Le Petit Jardin paper.
6. Apply double sided tape to the paper layer and apply this to the card mat.
7. Apply double sided tape to the card mat and apply to the large cut, foil and embossed frame.
8. Apply foam tape to the cut, foil and embossed frame and apply to the greetings card.
9. Loosely shape three of the smaller cut, foil and emboss frames to resemble book pages.
10. Apply double sided tape to the ‘spine’ and foam tape to the outer edge of each ‘page’ then stack these at an angle on the greeting card.
11. Foil your sentiment onto your last cut, foil and emboss ‘page’, shape and apply double sided tape/foam tape as for the other ‘pages’.
12. Apply this on top of the previous ‘pages’ stack.
You could add further embellishment however I feel that this looks amazing with the detail that’s already there!
