Mixed Media Gift Card Holder with Jowilna
Hi everyone, Jowilna on the blog today sharing this easy Gift Card Holder using envelopes. It's so easy to make but so clever and will really add interest to any gift.
Step 1 - Paint your chipboard title with some gesso and then spray with mists to add colour. Leave to dry or dry with a heat gun.
Step 2 - I had this tag that I stenciled for dimension and a blue background. I then added orange and purple mists to match my project colours.
Step 3 - Create 2 small envelopes using the Coutere Creations score board. My envelopes measure 4x3".
Foil the outside of the one envelope and then add some embossed detail.
Adhere the 2 envelopes together by sliding the flaps inside each other and add some adhesive to adhere.
Step 4 - Decorate the inside of the envelope using some Ephemera.
Cut flowers out of white cardstock and add mists for colour. Cut extra smaller flowers out of patterned paper.
Step 5 - Adhere the envelopes to the tag using double sided tape. Adhere the title (cut up) to the envelope with the die-cut flowers.
Wrap a ribbon around the bottom of the tag and add diamante to the center of the large flower.
Rub some copper wax onto the chipboard words for interest.
Use dimensional glaze and add some detail to the bee only.
Notice how the colours all look so amazing together - shades of purple, orange, pink and copper.
How easy is this little gift card holder - now simply slip a gift card inside the envelope (or two) and make someone's day really special.
