Steampunk Tags with Donna

Hi all,

My turn on the blog today with a project for Couture Creations using the

brilliant Steampunk Dreams collection by Lucy Campeanu. I had so much fun with this collection.

Die cut the three Distress Tags with Papers 2. I wanted these to be a little distressed on the front so used the waste from the cogs as a stencil.. Worked a treat.

A little runny black paint was needed with a squirt from a water bottle. Dry well.

I cut the back tags and distress the edges to match the smaller tags..

WOW, look what happened just from that background..

Told you this is a great collection.

These Open Wings are huge and full of details. Adding die cut gears to the tag and Hearts Fly Stamps and dies on top makes this a wow factor..

After stamping the sentiment cut each word out and adhere using foam tape.. Adding Stunning Silver Pearls on all these tags brings out the metal looking element.. Love how this turned out.

Tag 2.. Stamping the huge Gears and Butterflies Stamp and die cutting it from the Butterfly and Gears stamp and Die set worked perfectly.. I fussy cut the centre butterfly from the Papers 2 and adhered it on the body only so the wings lift up.. Some extra gears and cogs works wonderfully with this design.

Tag 3 and the smallest of the set is my favourite.. The Hearts Fly stamp is gorgeous.

Die cut Hello three times and adhere them together to give a little dimension. Works wonderfully with the heart.. A few gears and Stunning Silver Pearls is all you need..
