Hi everyone, Cheryl here today on the Couture Creations blog and today I have created a Christmas Tag Card using the new release Christmas collection "THE GIFT OF GIVING", and it is available now from our local paper craft store.  It is such a wonderful Christmas collection for scrapbooking pages, cards and tags.

Tags are fabulous and easy too create and are a great way to enhance your scrapbooking projects and cards.

PEACE ON EARTH tag card.

Using the Distressed tag die from the Couture Creations Steampunk Dreams collection (the largest of the three tag dies) I cut out a background from card stock.  Using the same tag die I also cut a tag from the one of the background papers from The GIFT OF GIVING collection.  That was the base of my tag.  I glued the two tags together, to give it some strength.

Next, I added one of the largest images (candle image) from THE GIFT OF GIVING ephemera set.

Using the ephemera candle images from the ephemera pack, I placed them on top of that candle image with foam tape between the two which gives it added texture and height.

Cutting a doily die from the MY SECRET LOVE collection and a set of leaves with Green card stock.

Another set of leaves were made using another double sided paper from THE GIFT OF GIVING collection.

Cutting two of the "PEACE OF EARTH' mini die, using two contrasting colours and layered them slightly off each to give a shadow effect.  Using the Couture Creations DIECUT'N BOND doubled sided adhesive tape to make it easier to secure them.  Last of all, adding a matching bow with ribbon, glitter glue for the flames on the candle.

Once finished I cut a contrasting colour paper from THE GIFT OF GIVING collection, placed the finished tag on the front of the card, as shown below.

Tags are so easy to create and they look fabulous on cards.
