Hello everyone and welcome back for my final turn on the blog for Couture Creations Design Team.
Sadly, this will be my last blog post as I have decided to leave the Design Team.
Thanks so much to Couture Creations for a wonderful journey and the opportunity to share, use and created beautiful projects using all their stunning collections and products.
Thanks also to my fellow design team members for their continued support, guidance and encouragement of my creations.
Also a very big thanks for the Couture Creations fans for your feedback and comments on my designs.
I have decided to create my last 2 cards with the first collection that I received to create m projects for Couture Creations. "Le Petit Jardin" collection.
I find this collection so gentle and versatile and it feels like it ties in nicely with keeping a happy face while we manage our new normal way of life.
Please note that this collection may not be available from Couture Creations but some stores may still have elements of this collection, also the cards are a guideline and you can use any other Couture Creations collection to create the same type of cards.
BeeHappy Card by Lea-Anne
I have made this gentle BEE HAPPY card using the Le Petit Jardin paper collection.I also used a stunning little Couture Creations flourish die and finished the card with paper flowers , mini pearl and diamanté.
For this card you will need 21cm x 15.5cm white card, score at 10.5cm and fold in half for your base card,
A green mat card 15cm x 10cm,
14.5cm x 9cm flower pattern page.
sheet 05A 14.5cm x9.5cm.
Cut embellishments, Skeleton flower and mini leaves and assemble flowers and stamens. A sentiment stamp, foam tape and a skewer to roll back the card to show the recessed panel.
Secure the green mat to the right hand side of the card.
Add the flower pattern card to the matt card.
Using the Sheet05A pattern page, stamp the sentiment on the top right hand side of the card. Using the wooden skewer roll back side of the centre cut paper to form an opening.
Die cut the corner flourish die using a piece of pattern paper from the Le Petit Jardin collection
Secure the corner flourish to the left of the centre tear.
Using your flowers and embellishments, build up the flowers and stamens layers covering the tear setting point. Add some stamens and mini rose buds into the inside fo the centre tear.
Bee Happy card
For my second I created this easy layered greeting card. I made this Many Happy returns card using the Le Petit Jardin collection. I also finished the card with papers, flowers, mini pearls and diamanté.
For this card you will need 21cm x 15.5 cm white card, score at 10.5cm and fold in half for your main card.
A 15cm x 10cm matt blue card, 14.5cm x 9.5cm white card (embossed), 10.5cm x 8cm green matt, 10cmx7.5cm mini blue pattern, 13cm x 2cm big blue flowers strip, 8cm circle purple matt, 7.5cm circle large blue pattern flowers, flower die cut, skeleton flower leaves, paper flowers, stamens, sentiment stamp, diamanté and mini pearls.
on the 21cm side of card, score the main card at 10.5cm and fold card in half. Stick the blue matt to the front of the white card. Trim and emboss the white card and secure to blue matt.
Stick and matt the circles together and add on the right of the card in the middle.
Matt and trim the blue flower paper strip, raise with foam tape, add to the green card and
stick down overlapping on the left of the circle.
Trim the second patter card with the mini blue flowers, raise with foam tape and stick on the right overlapping the flowers paper and the mat paper circles.
Trim the small green matt and white card, stamp the sentiment and secure using foam tape.
Using the flower die cut from the ephemera collection, secure this to the right of the sentiment.
Using the skeleton flowers and leaves, secure these to the bottom right of the card
overlapping the flower die cut and paper pieces.
