Card Gift box and Pen with Crece
Hello everyone, Crece here with you today to share a little project that would be great to create all year round as a lovely gift, I have themed mine today for Christmas using The Gift Of Giving Collection...but this would work with any Couture Creations paper range.
Card Gift Box With Pen
To begin you will need one 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of cardstock
and an additional piece of the same colour Cardstock, measuring 6 x 4.5 inchesNext using this template guide below, score and cut as instructed.
When you are finished, it will look like the image below.
The next step - on the left hand side of the box (this is the side with four scores running vertically up and down)
Fold the 2 Score lines into a mountain fold, Make a cut through both layers in the mountain at once - about 1 inch away from the top, make another slightly further down about 1/2 inch. (see below)
Now Poke those 2 cuts out so the little 'cube' they formed goes in the opposite direction than the other panels. (see image below)
Place some tape on the unfolded panel, above and below where the pen holder piece comes out.
Press down the panel to adhere, making sure the Pen holder part is still popped out.
Now we need to fold up the flaps to create the 'box'. Use double sided tape or glue to stick in place.
Now this is where the 6 x 4.5 inches piece of cardstock comes in.
We want to create an 'inside pocket' so make sure to flip your project over, so the 'box' part is on the bottom.
Attach tape to only 3 sides, and place the cardstock piece on top. (see below)
Now you can decorate.
I created 2 basic cards to add into my Card Gift Box with Pen, but you can fit more inside.
