Hi everyone and a Happy New Year to you all. Here we are in 2018 already!
Today I'm sharing a layout that I have created with the soon to be released C'est La Vie Collection from Couture Creations, designed by Tina Higgins.
To start take the Page 4A from the 12x12 paper pad, this will be the base of the layout. Then take Page 8A and cut two strips - you'll want the pink flowers in the centre of your strips for the peek-a-boo. Then take Page 10A and cut the pink square to use as your photo mat.
Cut the base page along the panel lines as shown. Distress and ink with a light pink ink - I've used Tattered Rose. Cut your peek-a-boo panels from Page 8A and adhere to the back of the page.
Distress and ink the photo mat piece and adhere to the centre of the page as shown.
To embellish, take some Ephemera, the Rosy Corner and Rosy Bouquet dies and a doily from the C'est La Vie collection. You will also need some scrap cardstock, pearls, gemstones, hotfoil and glitter glue.
Take the matching blue butterfly from the ephemera pack, trim down, ink the edges and add to the layout. Then add some Pink Blush pearls to each butterfly as shown. Die cut some dark pink/red cardstock using the Rosy Corner Decorative Die and place at the top left/bottom right of the photo cluster.
Take one of the 6cm Camden Cottage Roses and remove the bottom two petal layers. Ink with Victorian Velvet ink diluted with water and then add some Hot Pink Glitzin Glamour around the edge of each petal. Take two of the 3cm Camden Cottage Roses and repeat the process.
Adhere some Diecut'N Bond tape to some scrap cardstock and die cut two pieces using the Rosy Bouquet Decorative Die. The die should be cutting the taped side. Take some of the rose gold hotfoil and press onto the die cuts. Cut in half and add to the layout.
Distress and ink the edge of the layout base. Run a think strip of glue - a small area at a time - and allow to get tacky. Press some of the rose gold hotfoil onto the tacky glue. Repeat the process around the whole layout to form a foiled border.
Ink all ephemera pieces and arrange around the photo mat. Take one doily, cut into pieces and add to the cluster. Add ribbon, trim, pearls and bling as shown. Cover the photo and then splatter with diluted Victorian Velvet ink and white paint to finish.

Take two patterned pieces from The Ritz "Theatre" 12x12 paper pad and cut the first piece down to 10"x 12" and the second piece to 6"x 12". Ink all layers with a matching light brown ink and adhere to a piece of Delicate Medlar cardstock as shown.
Take one of the Hanging Cages and the Moment in Time chipboard pieces and foil with Champagne hotfoil.
Take the Ornate Doily chipboard and foil with Chocolate Copper hotfoil. Cut this in half and arrange on the layout to the left and bottom of your photo.
Add some flowers, sequins, 2mm gemstones and muslin on your layout to frame your photo.

Where Have the Years Gone?
#artdecocreations #couturecreationsaus #ultimatecraftsHi everyone! It's Julie here back on the blog today sharing a layout I created using the Bohemian Bouquet collection from Ultimate Crafts and chipboard from Couture Creations.
Take the following sheets from the 12x12 paper pad, cut out the circle from one of the pages and adhere to the base. Distress both layers. Next take the two main pieces from the decoupage sheets, cut them down and adhere on the circle to frame the photo. Cut a heart paper doily in half and placed underneath the circle layer as shown.
Ink the chipboard sentiment with red ink as a base colour then cover with Hot Pink Glitzin' Glamour.
For the frame, ink with a dark grey ink then coat with watered down black pigment powder.
Next add some flowers, black lace and a blue butterfly embellishment from the collection.
Use the Crystal 2mm gemstones in clusters around the page and Bubblegum 2mm gemstones in the flower centres on the circle layer as shown.
Here is a close up of the finished layout.

"You Are Beautiful" - Foiled Bohemian Cards
#artdecocreations #couturecreationsaus #ultimatecraftsHi everyone! It's Julie here back on the blog today sharing a clean and simple card using the GoPress & Foil Machine from Couture Creations.
To start I've taken the Orchid Box hotfoil stamp and placed it onto my GoPress & Foil Machine to heat up. Using some Phantom Purple hotfoil, I've foiled onto a smooth piece of white cardstock.
I've used the largest die from the Victorian Squares nesting die set to cut out the hotfoiled image. This shape works perfectly with both the Orchid Box die and hotfoil stamp. I've tacked it down with washi tape to hold in place. Note: The Victorian Squares set has been discontinued but is still available in some stores.
This particular die is the largest in this set. To create a backing layer, place the same die onto the back of some purple glitter cardstock. Tack down with wash tape.
Trace around the outside of the die and cut out the shape.
Adhere to the glitter cardstock using strong adhesive tape or glue. Then adhere to the front of the card with foam tape or dots.
Cut the Orchid Box die using purple glitter cardstock. Trim off the four "orchids" and adhere each one underneath the main panel as shown.
For the sentiment, foil the Beautiful Inside and Out hotfoil stamp onto some smooth white cardstock using more of the Phantom Purple hotfoil. Trim down and adhere to some purple glitter cardstock. Adhere to the centre of the focal piece using foam tape or dots.

Rose Gold Foiled Christmas Card
#artdecocreations #couturecreationsaus #ultimatecraftsHi everyone! It's Julie here back on the blog today sharing a very easy, clean and simple foiled Christmas card using the GoPress & Foil Machine and Diecut'N Bond Tape.
To start I've taken one of the white A6 cards and covered the front with Diecut'N Bond tape. I've also added some tape to a piece of white cardstock - this will be for the die cut.
I've die cut the piece of covered cardstock using the Christmas Baroque background die from the Let Every Day Be Christmas collection. Note: the die should be cutting into the cardstock Diecut'N Bond side up. Foil will be adhered to this piece later on.
Peel the backing from the front of the card exposing the sticky layer then place your die cut piece in the centre of the card front. Don't throw the backing away, this comes in handy later.
Use the backing to help press and stick the die cut onto the sticky card front. It's a lot easier than using just your fingers!
Sprinkle white glitter onto the centre of the card front. Spread it across the whole piece with your finger to burnish the glitter.
Remove the "backing" from the die cut piece then place a piece of vintage matte rose gold hotfoil over the die cut. Press firmly across the whole piece until you can see the pattern as shown below. When you are happy with the result remove the foil.
There may be some tiny areas that missed glitter or foil. Lightly rub your Goodbye Static pad across the entire piece to eliminate any tackiness. That's the first half of the card done.
To create the sentiment I've used the Ornate Christmas Frame hotfoil stamp from the Let Every Day Be Christmas collection and foiled with rose gold mirror hotfoil onto a piece of smooth white card. This is a lovely frame and looks beautiful in rose gold.
Using the same piece I've placed the Merry Christmas hotfoil stamp from the Let Every Day Be Christmas collection in the centre of some vintage matte rose gold hotfoil. Remember to cut as much excess as possible to avoid unwanted foil transfer. Tape down lightly with washi tape avoiding taping over any existing foiled areas.
This is the result. I didn't use any extra shims for this process, only the GoPress & Foil plates. You may need to use a shim depending on your machine's pressure.
I've added a couple of crystal 2mm gemstones, one in each corner of the card and four around the foiled frame. Here is the finished card.
