Butterfly Card with Michelle

Hi everyone,

I'm back again to share a little more creativity using the Butterfly Garden Collection - a collection from the Couture Creations team.

It's one of those collections that you really must have in your stash.

I've used the following paper ...

To make this card ...

'Cherish' is another version of the triangular card I have previously shared with you.

Cut your white cardstock 6" x 9" - place your cardstock long-side across your Couture Creations scoring board - score at 3"and again at 6".

Cut a strip of cardstock 6" x 1" and score longwise.

Using a circle die cut a circle in your middle panel of cardstock.

Cut three panels of patterned paper 2 3/4" by 5 3/4" and then cut a larger circle in one of your paper panels and ink around edges before adhering to cardstock base.

Decorate and embellish your middle panel.

You can see that I have threaded cotton between the layers of my circle.

I have hand cut two butterflies from the other side of the patterned paper.

Adhere strip panel on the inside of your card to each edge to form your triangle card.

You can see the strip panel on the inside of the card in the next photo.

To embellish I have layered a little muslin, some crafting fibres, a thin thread of tiny pearls and then a bloom.  I have used a sticker sentiment and adhered to the paper strip running along the bottom edge of the patterned paper.

I have then used a little gel medium and adhered some sequins.

and just like that ...

I love creating in purple tonings.

Happy creating everyone.
Until next time.
Take care
