Hi and welcome to my post today featuring the gorgeous Butterfly Garden patterned papers and chipboard!

 This beautiful collection gave me the perfect opportunity to scrapbook a special layout using one of my altime favourite photographs of Quentin and I.

I started my layout by marking out roughly where I would place the main elements and then loosly splashing around some watercolour with lots of water. I let all of this dry naturally before sitting it under something heavy overnight, which helps with the warping associated with using lots of waterbased product on paper or cardstock.

My next step with my layout design was to foil the chipboard elements, foil the title and large frame, cut and distress plenty of patterned paper pieces and lay it all out to see if I was happy - and that I had included enough layers to achieve the overall effect I was after.

Besides the beautiful Butterfly Garden patterned papers I feel that the 'Star' of this layout is the Modern Essentials Decorative Nesting Chandelier Frames Cut, Foil and Emboss Die. This set is essential for any Papercrafter who loves to use feminine accents or create in a Shabby Chic style.
