Today I'm sharing a card using the

Floral Layers - Tattered Carnation die set

I started by selecting a few contrasting patterned papers from the hearts ease 6x6 and a pink patterned paper from the vintage rose 6x6

I wanted the darkest colour as my background so I could emboss it with the hearts ease embossing folder and use the sanding block to bring the embossed pattern through and machine stitched around the edge.

Then I cut 2 strips of patterned paper in a pendent shape and layered them across my card

Adding the hanslope die cut shape over the top

Then I added the 2mm  gemstones to the embossed background 

Next I die cut the tattered carnation on yellow patterned paper from the hearts ease 6x6 layered and inked the with light pink and hand cut some leaves and popped them behind the flower

Then using the 2 smallest dies from the tattered carnation die set I die cut 2 added a tiny bead and a bit of florist wire and glued them together..

Then lastly I added a white embossed butterfly from the Hearts Ease stamp set borders and butterflies
